Movie description:
Torik was a shy and quiet child. Everything was all right until he became an adult and married a girl from a brothel. The town could not forgive him for that. Thus the young man turns into a resolute and courageous defendant of his own happiness.
In a Western-Armenian provincial town at the beginning of the 20th century. After his parents death, Torik is left in charge of his aunt Turnanta and her husband Grigor-agha. He grows as a shy and quiet, honest and credulous child. Everything’s supposed to be all right until he became an adult. He falls in love and marries Anjel, a girl from a brothel. The town is in contempt and could not forgive him for that. Thus Torik turns into a resolute and courageous defendant of his own happiness.
